The famous white village of Mojacar is only 20 minutes away and is a must. The small bars and shops and the fabulous panoramic views are worth a visit. At the same time the beach of Mojacar is at the bottom of the hill and has some of the prettiest beach bars and restaurants on the Costas.
Swimming is not only the best thing about Mojacar but small journeys in either direction offer secluded beaches that can still be found even in August !!
The nearest large town to Antas is Vera being only 4 km away and is the administrative center and has 4 very large supermarkets. It also has some very good beaches including a naturist beach.
Garrucha fishing town being only 8 ks away offers a totally different atmosphere. It not only has a splendid market on Fridays but has a never-ending Esplanade and harbor where the best sea food restauranteurs ply their trade.
Antas is only 2ks from The Autovia de Mediterraneo and if you want to explore further Granada is less than 2 hours away and Almeria only 50 minutes. It s an ideal location to access this area but at the same time have peace and quiet away from "the madding crowds".
