Antas is a large village, but because of its unique position as a huge supplier of citrus fruit to the whole of Europe, it is also a thriving community.

It is only 15 minutes from the tourist beaches of Mojacar but has managed to maintain its individuality and offers a peaceful but oddly enough a bustling atmosphere that only a truly Spanish community can provide. It's main street has banks, restaurants, a post office, health center, fishmongers, and butchers. Off this are many little streets, the majority being non-vehicular.

There are many little supermarkets, the bread shop, Tabac and a plethora of small pubs The walk from Finca Antas is about 10 minutes or bikes can be hired if you wish to explore the surrounding countryside.
